Description

     The “Emex” Bicomponent Epoxy Mortar (also called epoxy screed) is a professional product based on epoxy resins without solvents, pigments and special additives, specially designed for equalizing the uneven horizontal surfaces in order to prepare for economical application of self-leveling synthetic paving. The product is especially recommended for old screeds, with a pronounced degree of damage, or where there are small holes for filling. The product is distinguished by stability in acidic or alkaline chemical environments and high thermal variations.

Utilization Domains

     The “Emex” Bicomponent Epoxy Mortar is intended for professional use filling of the voids and equalizing the concrete surfaces for the application of synthetic self-leveling paving, with excellent and lasting resistance characteristics, perfectly compatible with the epoxy or polyurethane screeds.

     It is used with excellent results in civil and industrial constructions, for economic equalization, without self-leveling, or repairing of all old paving with a pronounced degree of damage, or where there are small filling holes, prior to application of synthetic paving, with final aspect which may vary depending on the way of application. It can also be used on the supports with a high slope in areas of wear (intense traffic).

     For the correct preparation of the surfaces is required the mechanical cleaning for removing any spot or traces of contaminants and covering with “Emex” Epoxy Impregnation Base Coat. The application is made by founding and stretching with trowel or ravels, followed according to manufacturer’s recommendations by venting with needle rollers.

The Epoxy Bicomponent Mortar is used for civil and industrial constructions, prior to application of the bicomponent paving, without self-leveling, especially in deteriorated or high wear areas, exposed to chemical environments or for special protection such as: plant yards, motor services, industrial warehouses, hospitals, laboratories, schools, restaurants kitchens, canteens, bakeries, etc., and especially in areas where the risk of accidental slip exists (auto ramps, and so on).
