Description

     The“Emex” Alkyd Anticorrosive Primer is a monocomponent, industrial product, based on alkyd resins, aluminum-bronze paste, organic solvents, pigments, specific additives, fillers and cutting edge ecologic anti-corrosive agents, without lead or chromium salts, used as initial layer, for protecting over ground metallic elements operated in mild aggressive environments, both interior and exterior. It has a great adherence and resistance. It can be colored in characteristic colors: red, gray, yellow, black.

Utilization Domains

     The “Emex” Alkyd Anticorrosive Base Coat is intended for industrial use for protecting the metallic surfaces interior or exterior.

     The EMEX Anticorrosive Base Coat is used for covering and protecting the new metallic surfaces, and the ones that have been painted before with other compatible coatings.

     It is recommended the previous application of an “Emex CM Cleaner remover”, or “Emex PC ECO” ecologic remover, followed by mechanical cleaning.

     In case of an old layer of rust, it will use the “Emex Rust Stop” Solution For Removing Rust.

     The product is intended for steel or metal surfaces: pipes, ducts, tanks, radiators, sheet metal, frames and metallic racks, grills, railings, metal furniture, metal mounting brackets, fences, railings, gates, metal fittings, iron poles, scenes, beams, metal stands and canopies, etc.

     The base coat can be applied by brushing, rolling or spraying with air or air-less. The dilution will be done with “Emex” Alkyd Dilute.

     This base coat can be used with in system with any of the decorative paints based on fat alkyd resins such as: “Emex Gold” Premium Alkyd Enamel, “Emex” Extracolor Enamel or “Emcolor” Enameled Paint and so on.

     It is recommended for protection of over ground construction elements.

     It is not recommended for new galvanized steel or stainless steel.
