Description

     The Premium “Emex Extracolor” alkyd enamel is a monocomponent, professional product, based on alkyd resin, pigments, specific additives, solvents and fillers used as final layer in protection systems for steel, concrete and wood surfaces, both in indoor conditions, as outdoor, characterized by high adherence to the support, very good covering (1 layer at a surface proper prepared), weatherproof and lasting sheen. It is indicated for over ground elements. It is fabricated in any color, according to the RAL color card.

Utilization Domains

    The “Emex Extracolor” alkyd enamel is intended for superior and lasting finishing of interior or exterior surfaces.

    It is used as final layer in protection systems for:

     - metal surfaces: pipes, ducts, tanks, radiators, sheet metal, frames and metallic racks, grills, railings, metal furniture, metal mounting brackets, fences, railings, gates, metal fittings, iron poles, scenes, beams, metal stands and canopies, etc.

     - surfaces with mineral base: concrete, masonry, lime and cement plasters, lime or gypsum plasters and polishing plaster coats, cardboard plates, new or old plasters based on binding materials, asbestos cement,

     - surfaces of wood: MDF, OSB, plywood, wainscoting, eaves, cases, panels, beams, ply, panel, etc.

     For metallic surfaces covering it is recommended the preparation with “Emex” Anticorrosive Alkyd Primer, or “Neomatt”NEOMATT Economical primer.

     When is applied on wood surfaces, it is recommended the preparation of surfaces by prior covering with “Emex” Ironware base coat.

     The product has superior sheen but for achieving a great aesthetic effect you can super varnish with “Emex” alkyd varnish.

     It is recommended for protection of over ground construction elements.

     It is not recommended for new galvanized steel or stainless steel.
