Description

     The “Emex” Alkyd-Melamine Anticorrosive Base Coat is a monocomponent, professional product,with air or oven drying,, based on mild alkyd resins, melamine-formaldehyde resins, pigments, specific additives, cutting edge ecologic anti-corrosive agents, without lead or chromium salts, aluminum paste, extenders, additives and organic solvents, with great resistance and excellent adherence to the support, used as initial layer for protecting metallic elements exposed to aggressive environments. Basic colors: red, gray, yellow, black.

     The “Emex” Anticorrosive Base Coat for Oven with air or oven drying is intended for professional use as initial layer for anticorrosive protection of the metallic elements exposed to aggressive environments and car body elements and parts or equipments, (cranes, bridges, lift trucks, etc.).

    The product will not be used for the surfaces that have been painted or protected, only after the complete cleaning of the previously layers.

     For the complete cleaning of the surfaces that have been painted before, it is recommended to previously apply an “Emex CM Cleaner”, or ecologic remover “Emex PC ECO”, followed by mechanical cleaning or preferably by blasting, according to Data Sheet.

     In case of an old layer of rust, it will use the “Emex Rust Stop” Solution For Removing.

     The product is prevalently intended for areas exposed to aggressive corrosion, to car bodies and parts or equipments, but it can be used on any other metallic surfaces: pipes, ducts, tanks, radiators, sheet metal, frames and metallic racks, grills, railings, metal furniture, metal mounting brackets, fences, railings, gates, metal fittings, iron poles, scenes, beams, metal stands and canopies, etc.

     This base coat is used with excellent results in system with the “Emex” Automotive Enamel for Equipment, but it is compatible with all alkyd paints, with the condition of respecting the application instructions.
