Description
The “Emex AQ Eco” Hydro-Soluble Anticorrosive Base Coat (Immersion Base Coat) is an industrial product, based on water-soluble acrylic resins, fillers, pigments, cutting edge anticorrosive agents without 
lead salts or chromium and specific additives, with great resistance against rapid or long term rust, which can be used on almost all types of metal with excellent properties, used as initial layer for protecting over ground metallic elements exploited in normal aggressive environments, both interior and exterior. Standard colors: red, gray.

Utilization Domains
The “Emex AQ Eco” Immersion Anticorrosive Base Coat is intended for industrial use for protecting metal surfaces indoors or outdoors, located in areas with average exposure 
to corrosive agents or aggressive factors.
The Immersion Base Coat is used for both covering and protecting the new metal surfaces and those that have been painted with other compatible coating.
It is recommend the previous application of an “Emex CM Cleaner”, or an “Emex PC ECO” Ecological Remover, followed by mechanically cleaning.
In case of an old layer of rust, it will be used the “Emex Rust Stop” Solution for Removing the Rust..
The product is recommended for steel and metal surfaces: pipes, ducts, tanks, radiators, sheet metal, frames and metallic racks, grills, railings, metal furniture, metal mounting brackets, fences, railings, gates, metal fittings, iron poles, scenes, beams, metal stands and canopies, etc.
The product is applied by brushing, spraying, rolling, dipping or air-less.
This type of base coat can be used in any system with any paint based on fat alkyd resins such as: Premium “Emex Gold” Alkyd Enamel, “Emex” Extracolor Enamel or “Emcolor” Enameled Paint, and so on, any type of water-soluble paint, and other types of paint based on compatibility tests, or the manufacturer's recommendation.
