“EMEX” MARBLE PLASTER FOR DECORATIVE PLINTH

Description

     The “Emex” Decorative Marble Mottled Plaster for Plinth is a professional product, based on pure acrylic resins, specific additives and colored marble grains of different sizes, intended for superior decorative finishing plasters, with tessellated final aspect, of differentmixes of colors. It is intended especially for plinths decoration, but it is also successfully used in other applications, even indoor, like arches, columns, etc. It has a very good adherence to the support and high resistance to UV, weathering and the frequent contact with water (for plinths).

Utilization Domains

     The “Emex” Decorative Marble Mottled Plaster for Plinth is intended especially for finishing and protection of the exterior plinths of civil and industrial buildings, new or old, taking into account the achieving of special visual effects.

     The mottled aspect, achieved by mixing granules with different colors, gives a typical touch to this plaster, which can be used to any other applications which require the achieving of special color effects. The product is distinguished by high resistance to moisture and UV.

     Although in general are used modern cement plasters as a substrate, for application are agreed most of surfaces with mineral base: concrete, masonry, lime and cement plaster, lime or gypsum plasters and polishing plaster coats, new or old plaster based on binding material, gypsum board, absorbent mineral conglomerates of any type, old organic or mineral paintings, dry, compact and absorbent paintings, asbestos cement.

     The surfaces will be mandatory primed with Base coat with quartz for priming for “EMEX” plasters, which has a complementary role to create anchor points for increasing the adhesion of plaster to the support.

     In case of areas affected by mold or fungi, they will be treated with Forte “Emex” Sanitizer.

     This type of plaster does not require a background layer. Although the product is resistant to moisture, it is applied only on completely dry support and only after complete drying of mortars.
