Description

     The “Emex Concrete” Hidrophobizing Solution For Concrete Impregnation is a professional product, based on silane, water-soluble, recommended for conferring hydrophobic properties to concrete, reinforced concrete and mineral surfaces in general, significantly increasing their service time and allowing the structure to breathe. The product has a good power of penetrating and an effective action of reducing the permeability of the support against water or moisture and of increasing the resistance to salt infiltration and oxidation effects.

     The “Emex Concrete” Hidrophobizing Solution For Concrete Impregnation is intended for concrete cement surfaces or other materials with mineral based, in order to offer them preservation properties properties against water action, salts or other corrosive substances present in the atmosphere, preventing the oxidation effects, which can affect in time the material for structure, leading even to exfoliation.

     The product has a high power of penetrating (up to 10 mm) and resistance to water or remanent moisture.

     The Solution for Concrete Impregnation is recommended for protecting over ground vertical walls against moisture and decay, against rain with wind or the penetrating of the chlorinated agents. The most common surfaces are concrete and brick masonry, precast façades, concrete panels, natural or artificial stone, stone blocks, concrete paving, terra cotta (wall tiles or small Ceramic TileTile tiles), substrates for paints based on mineral silicates. The product fully keeps the aspect of the support texture.

     The product is suitable only for new surfaces, which were not been painted before.

     The areas which will be covered with the Solution for Hidrophobizing Based on Silane are cleaned of dust and degreased adequately, for removal of any traces of dirt or fats. The surfaces must be hard and compact, without exfoliation or cracking tendency.
