Description

     The “Emex” Polyurethane Varnish for Furniture is a bicomponent professional product, based on acryl-polyol resin, specific additives and isocyanate which bring very resistant films to the aggressive factors such as: ink, coffee, stain fruits, etc., used as final layer in protection systems and decoration of furnishings. It is characterized by Great adherence to support, great resistance to UV and friction, a good display and a shiny aspect and a very good clarity. The product can be shaded in basic, semi-transparent colors.

Utilization Domains

     The “Emex” Polyurethane Varnish for Furniture is intended for use for decorative or industrial finishing of wood surfaces, interior or exterior, especially furniture.

     It is used as final layer for protection systems for industrial or wood hand-made furniture, for interior or garden, where an effective aspect is required, with superior sheen and great resistances to aggressive factors, spottability, weather or UV, etc.

     This type of varnish can be used also with very good results for furniture metallic parts or other connected metallic surfaces.

     The wood surfaces which will be covered with the EMEX polyurethane varnish for furniture, are polished with abrasive paper with medium granulation, until all roughness are removed and the resulted dust is removed with soft bristle brushes, fabric cleaning rag, or by aspiration.

     Any anterior protection, regardless of the type of existing product, will be removed by scraping with “Emex CM Cleaner” remover, ecologic remover “Emex PC ECO”, or any other cleaning method, followed by drying, polish with abrasive paper and removal of dust.

     There will be applied at least two layers of varnish, to ensure a sufficient impregnation of the fibers, which will lead to a high resistance of the film, optimal display and special final aspect.
