Description

     The “Emex” Semitransparent Pigmented Alkyd Varnish is a professional productl, mass colored, based on alkyd resin, transparent pigments, additives and special solvents used as final layer in protection systems and decoration of wood surfaces, both in indoor conditions, as outdoor. It is characterized by Great adherence to support, semi-transparent covering, excellent resistance to UV, great display and enameled sheen, with very good overall performances in protecting wood.

Utilization Domains

     The “Emex” Semitransparent Pigmented Alkyd Varnish is intended for decorative or industrial finishing of wood surfaces, interior or exterior.

     It is used as final layer in protection systems for wood hand-made furniture, for interior or garden, paneling, eaves, cases, panels, beams, ply, panel, OSB, plywood, other wood surfaces.

     It is not recommended either for super varnishing of the paints or enamel nor for metal application.

   Wood surfaces that will be covered with EMEX Semitransparent Pigmented Alkyd Varnish are polished with abrasive paper with medium granulation, until all roughness are removed and the resulted dust is removed with soft bristle brushes, fabric cleaning rag, or by aspiration.

     You should bear in mind the removal of any dirt or fats traces impregnated in fiber; even if the earlier protection is very good, the surface will be polished with abrasive paper and the resulted dust will be removed.

     On new wood surfaces there will be at least two layers of varnish, to ensure a sufficient impregnation of the fibers, which will lead to a high resistance of the film, display and final sheen.

     Due to the fact that it is semitransparent, the product allows the creation of different color combinations, with marble, veneer effects etc.
