Polishable Base Coat

     The “Emex” Pore Equalization and Filling Base Coat is used for superior preparing of the plasters or interior plasters of civil and industrial buildings, new or old, walls or ceilings of different structures, in order to cover with emulsion paints.

     Due to its covering power and the ease of polishing it is recommended for seeing and removing all the imperfections of application of the previous layers, for achieving a perfect flat surface without visible pores.

     It is used as basic layer for covering all types of lime or gypsum plasters, gypsum boards, absorbent mineral conglomerates of any type, organic or mineral old paintings, dry, compact and absorbent. You should bear in mind that it does not totally replace the primer and is intended for removing the pores and the little damages of the support, for achieving professional paintings.

     The areas affected by fungi or molds will be cleaned with  “Emex” Forte Sanitizer, prior to application of the base coat.

     This type of base coat for priming the walls is successfully used in system with any acrylic or vinyl emulsion paint, but it is prevalently recommended for: Premium “Emex Gold” Emulsion Paint, “Emex Gloss” Gloss Shiny Emulsion Paint, “Emex” Superwashable Paint or “Emex Silk” Enameled Emulsion Paint.
