Description

     The “Neomatt” Economic Alkyd Base Coat is a monocomponent, economic product, based on alkyd resin, organic solvents, pigments, specific additives, fillers and cutting edge ecologic anti-corrosive agents, without lead or chromium salts, used as initial layer, for protecting over ground metallic elements operated in mild aggressive environments, both interior and exterior. It has a resistance limited to aggressive factors but an excellent value for money. It can be colored in characteristic shades: red, gray, yellow, black.

     The “Emex” Economic Alkyd Base Coat is intended for industrial use for preparing the interior or exterior metallic surfaces for painting.

     The product is used for covering and protecting the new metallic surfaces, and the ones that have been painted before with other compatible coatings.

     It is recommended the previous application of an “Emex CM Cleaner” Remover, or “Emex PC ECO” Ecologic Remover, followed by mechanical cleaning.

     In case of an old layer of rust, it will use the “Emex Rust Stop” Solution For Removing Rust.

     The product is intended for steel or metal surfaces: pipes, ducts, tanks, radiators, sheet metal, frames and metallic racks, grills, railings, metal furniture, metal mounting brackets, fences, railings, gates, metal fittings, iron poles, scenes, beams, metal stands and canopies, etc.

     The dilution will be done with “Emex” Alkyd Dilute.

     This type of base coat can be used with very good results in system with any of the decorative paints based on fat alkyd resins such as: Premium “Emex Gold” Alkyd Enamel, “Emex” Extracolor Enamel or “Emcolor” Extracolor Enamel, and so on.

     It is recommended for protection of over ground construction elements.

     It is not recommended for new galvanized steel or stainless steel.
